Mahi Sauvignon Blanc 2007, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: The fruit for this spectacular Sauvignon Blanc is hand-picked and whole-cluster pressed. A small portion of the blend is fermented in French oak barriques while the rest is done in stainless steel. This youthful wine features intense aromas of grapefruit and freshly cut grass. It’s full-bodied with ripe citrus flavors, lively acidity and a lengthy crisp, clean finish. My note: Herbal, grassy goodness. Refreshing and zippy.
