Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with purple hue. Aromas of plum, dark cherries, and graphite. Astringent and full bodied with juicy acidity. Tastes of dark fruits, leather, and smoke. Score 90.
(S.Segard, reviewed Nov. 19, 2017)
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour, dark plum, dark cherry, fig, smoke, graphite, cedar and earthiness. Some elements of wet leaves. Dark chocolate and notes of fresh tobacco. Flavours are vibrant and evolve with quite a bit of spice present. Plums, stewed red fruit, mixed berry pie filling and peppery cinnamon heat. Medium acidity, medium plus body and finish. Refined tannins that are well integrated and deliciously well rounded. 91 points. November 2017
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

Stewed dark berries, cassis, earth, and baking spices draw you in on the nose with cinnamon and leather emerging. Jammed berries, prune, and florals lead the way while earth, leather, and wood influence play supporting roles. Well integrated tannins are slightly grippy but enjoyable drinking this wine on its own.
Drink this with a medium, bone-in ribeye simply seasoned and brushed with rosemary butter.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A delicious blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, and Garnacha this red has aromas of cherry and flavours of ripe berries, and herbs with a touch of spice. Smooth finish. Delicious paired with with roast leg of lamb. Tasted November 19, 2017.
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A delicious blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha grape, this gold winning dark ruby red had dark toasty oak note with cherry and currants. Full mouthfeel and nice forward finish. Think braised meat or spicy Spanish dishes.

Natalie's Review

Tobía Selección Crianza 2013, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: This robust Spanish red wine is a blend of 70% Tempranillo, 18% Graciano and 12% Garnacha grapes for the 2013 vintage. It was aged for 20 months in French and American oak barrels. Black and tarry with lots of toasty oak and charred blackened fruit. Pair with a rare steak.
