John Masur WSET 3, Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

In Campania, The Taurasi region is where you'll find the Aglianico grape at the height of it's expression. This Nativ wine has a wonderful floral essence that hides the power of the dried blackberry flavours lurking beneath. Aglianico is known to blend well with oak, and this is no exception as you get hints of vanilla, and spice to round out its full body and fine grained tannins. A modern style of wine, this will pair well with hard cheeses, olives, pizza, red sauce pasta, and charcuterie, as the acidity and fruits hold up well against salty and fatty dishes.
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Heavily oaked with rich powerful very ripe plummy nose. Fully dry with a pop of alcohol late. Somewhat reminicent of Primitivo (aka Zin).
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Plum, smoke, spice and everything nice! A lovely, moderate to full-bodied Italian red crafted from Aglianico grapes in the Southern Italian region of Taurasi, Campagnia. Enjoy with smoked brisket. Tasted May 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
