Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A super sexy Chianti, hailing from this single vineyard production. Heady aromas of ripe black cherries, black pepper, leather and floral hints transform into rich berry flavours, a velvety mouthfeel, and a lingering spicy finish. Well worth the extra dollars in comparison to other Chianti of this vintage. Perfect as a hostess gift. Drinking well now, or cellar for up to another 5 years. Decant for 1-2 hours.
Tasted Sept 2017.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A fruity, savoury, and elegant Chianti dominated by spice notes on the nose followed by smooth, mouthwatering and deeply concentrated red fruit flavours on the palate. This single vineyard Chianti Classico puts the terroir in the spotlight and showcases the best of what Chianti Classico Sangiovese has to offer. Enjoy this full-bodied Chianti with braised lamb and creamy polenta. Tasted the Vancouver International Wine Festival, Feb 2017 - @sommsosa | co-owner of bespoketastings.ca.

Natalie's Review

Rocca delle Macie Riserva Di Fizzano Single Vineyard Gran Selezione Chianti Classico 2013, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: The Italian winery of the Fizzano estate is planted with both grape vines and olive trees (the latter also has a DO Organic certification). Intensely concentrated dark fruit aromas. This Chianti Classico is mostly Sangiovese but also has small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Full-bodied with a good tarry, black fruit grip on the palate. Savoury and meaty. Give it some cellar time then decant 2 hours with a hearty meat dish. Good value. Drink: 2015-2020. 699454 14% XD 750 mL  $35.95 Score: 89/100. February 18, 2017 Voluptuous Veal Wine  Full Review
