Natalie's Review

Cono Sur Visión Carmenere 2007, Rapel Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: Each wine in Cono Sur’s Visión series is sourced from a plot of land personally chosen by the winemaker, with the aim of producing a wine with individual character. The 2007 Carmenere is an intense purple color in the glass, offering aromas of black cherry, mocha and hazelnuts. Richly textured with dark berry fruit flavors and ripe tannins. My note: This winery uses Chile’s classic grape to make a wine in an accessible and delicious style. Dark red fruit notes. 59360 XD 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 88/100. June 7, 2008  Full Review
