Natalie's Review

El Retiro Bonarda 2004, Mendoza, Argentina: Vintages Wine Panel: True Bonarda is only grown in northern Italy. Argentinian Bonarda, the provenance of which is still a matter of debate, is now one of the two most widely planted grapes in the country. Internationally, Bonarda wines are quickly growing in popularity. Finca el Retiro‚Äôs version is rich on the palate and as juicy as summer fruit. My note: A dark red with full-bodied punch. 640896 D 750 mL  $12.95 Score: 86/100. June 7, 2008  Full Review
