Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted May 3rd 2017. Brilliant pink on the rim, cherry and ruby red to the core. Aroma of dark fruit, plum blackberry and black pepper. On the palate dark and red fruit with soft sweet tannins balanced with acid. Makes my whole mouth tingle. Finishes nicely with fruit short to medium. This is a very pleasing wine to drink a great table wine paired with A variety red meat dishes. And stews. I paired it with my dark chicken pasta, with lots of cheese on top. Great value red.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A good value, Sicilian IGT, ruby red, declared 14% ABV. Ripe Red fruit, tart, balanced, medium fruit, medium acidity, medium tannins. Easy drinking and pairs well with antipasti. Tasted Jan 2017. Rated 87/100.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Moderate aromas, juicy berry fruit and spice flavours, lighter bodied than I expected, and very much crowd pleasing. Tannins and acidity are moderate on this medium-bodied Scicilian red. Enjoy with bbq lamb souvlaki. Tasted Jan 21 - @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca
