Heather Wall rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Varietally correct pretty florals with touch of earthiness. Some tart cherry and cranberry on the finish. Simple, clean, light-bodied and smooth. Perfect sipper that won't break the bank. Enjoy with a favourite thin crust pizzza; planked salmon; or mild game meats.
Tasted: October 2016
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Casablanca Valley, Chile, this Gran Reserva Pinot Noir shows tart cherry aromas with mocha notes and lots of mocha with the fruit and earth flavours on the palate.

Natalie's Review

Viña Ventisquero Queulat Gran Reserva Pinot Noir 2014, Casablanca Valley, Chile: This single-vineyard Chilean Pinot Noir is part of Queulat's line of single-vineyard wines. The sites are chosen by winemaker Sergio Hormazabal: "We challenge the status quo, always searching for unique and different ways to accomplish our goal ... to create great wines." Lots of toasty oak, violets and fresh earth on the nose of this Chilean red wine. It opens up with cherry berry notes on the palate. Medium-bodied and smooth. The 2014 vintage displays classic Casablanca cool climate character. This wine's big brother, Viña Ventisquero, Grey, Leyda Valley, often gets scores in the high 90s. Pair with herb crusted salmon, veal or roasted turkey. Drink: 2016-2019. 389213 12.50% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 88/100. October 15, 2016 Best Value Red Wine. Voluptuous Veal Wine  Full Review
