Blackberry, raspberry, blueberry pomegranate, graphite minerality. A wonderful Cali Zin which is designed to please. Offering great value, this wine is well balanced, high alcohol, being declared at 16.08% ABV. Showing well with vibrant black and red fruit, structured tannins and acidity. Enjoy this Full bodied Old Vine Zin with pulled pork, bacon and sausage pizza, spicy wings, comfort foods, or an aged cheese platter. This is a wine to buy by the case approaching the festive season and is sure to please. Drinking well now. @jonsteeves rated 92/100 - Tasted Nov 2016 - bespoketastings.ca
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Mmmmm, just alluring! This inky red Zinfandel shows pronounced aromas black cherry, plum, anise, violets and fresh mint. The palate repeats these attractive and complex notes and adds to it with lasting flavours of licorice, dates and graphite minerality. Hailing from Amador County - at the Sierra Foothills - in California, this full-bodied Zinfandel shows an incredible of balance of acidity (moderate), tannins (moderate to low) and alcohol (high but integrated). Enjoy with sweet and tangy BBQ wings. Tasted Nov 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
