Elena Walch Castel Ringberg Pinot Grigio 2006, D.O.C. Alto Adige, Alto Adige, Italy: Elena Walch, along with a handful of others, helped pave the way for other women who dreamed of making fine wines. Her single vineyard Castel Ringberg is legendary for producing superlative Pinot Grigios and the 2006 vintage is no exception. Displaying ripe fruit, herbs and floral aromas and flavors, this is a fresh and focused Pinot Grigio.
