Flat Rock Cellars Flat Rock Pinot Noir 2007, V.Q.A. Twenty Mile Bench, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: Flat Rock Cellars was started in 1999, with its first full vintage in 2003. In a very few years, it has emerged as a fine producer of pinot noir. This example shows pretty cherry, plum, earth and beetroot aromas and flavors. A layer of crisp acidity and gentle tannins add balance. My note: A lovely, balanced pinot with rich notes of black cherries and oak. Medium-to full-bodied. 1545 12% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 90/100.
