Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Golden in the glass. Clean, bright oak defines the nose and palate. Big and bold but silky smooth. Reminiscent of California Chardonnay without the butteriness. A bit hot on the finish which is long and satisfying. Serve with smoked cheeses or turkey dinner with all the fixin's. Tasted April 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Green apple and vanilla/oak in competition for thread on the nose, close race between lemon and butter behind. Acid first before oak texture. Fruit takes the lead on the palate before oak closes the gap on the finish. Fruit eeks out a narrow win over barrel notes, but that's what we want in a good quality, balanced, cool climate Chardonnay. Pair with lemon chicken or salmon and enjoy.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Luscious medium bodied Chardonnay with just the right amount of oak to keep it interesting. Orchard fruit on the nose, some caramel. Smooth with balanced acidity, orchard fruit and a medium to long finish. Very more-ish.

Natalie's Review

Tawse Winery Inc. Cuddy By Tawse Chardonnay 2013, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario VQA, Canada: A rich, full-bodied Niagara Chardonnay with aromas of toasted almond, golden apple and peach. A layered mid-palate with terrific replays of orchard fruit flavours. Finishes long and smooth. This wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The 2013 vintage is the inaugural release of this wine. Jim Cuddy, lead singer and guitarist of the Canadian band Blue Rodeo, has partnered with Niagara’s Tawse Winery to create a new wine brand, Cuddy by Tawse. Cuddy is one of the country’s most iconic musicians: over the past thirty years Blue Rodeo has sold more than four million records, released 14 albums and won eleven JUNO awards. Pair with grilled chicken while enjoying an outdoor concert. Drink: 2017-2021. 469023 12.50% XD 750 mL  $25.95 Score: 92/100. May 17, 2019 Top Rated White Wine.
