Heather Wall rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I enjoyed this 2012 vintage Pinot Meunier as much as the 2011. It's rare to find Pinot Meunier as a single varietal wine. It is known as one of three grapes blended in Champagne along with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This 100% PM is pale ruby colour, has medium body, mild tannins and refreshing acidity. Lots of red fruit, perfume, floral, pepper, black earth, cedar. At $17.95 why not give it a taste next to it's cousin Pinot Noir. Delicious holiday turkey wine. Nicely crafted by 2014 Ontario Wine Awards Winemaker of the Year Brian Schmidt.
Tasted: December 2014

Natalie's Review

Vineland Estates Winery Pinot Meunier 2012, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Lovely essence of Pinot Meunier -- an undiscovered red grape often just used in a blend like an understudy. This offers enticing notes of soft cherry and red floral aromas. Perfect for roast turkey or chicken. Makes a nice aperitif too. Medium-bodied and balanced. In the Champagne region of France, Pinot Meunier is one of the three key grapes in the sparkling wine blend, along with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It's rare to find a single varietal Pinot Meunier wine, so give it a try with grilled pork chops. Drink: 2013-2016. 225508 13% XD 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 89/100.
