Eamonn Donnelly rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A Kabinett riesling from the Rheingau region of Germany. A low alcohol wine with pronounced aromatic intensity of ripe orchard fruit, peach and apricot, candied ginger, all driven by petrol and mineral elements. Developing tertiary notes on the palate of honey and dried pineapple, seamlessly interlaced with bright, fresh fruit. Medium sweet, yet enough acidity to appear quite dry. Medium to medium full body despite being such a low alcohol wine. Great texture and length. Outstanding wine. Drink now, but has potential for further ageing.
Pair with crispy Chinese BBQ duck.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Low alcohol Rheingau Riesling. It's a Kabinett, which is part of the superior Pradikatswein classification, though it is at the bottom of that system, less ripe or sweet than Spatlese. Super aromatic - tons of life and acidity left. Soft, elegant, and a good value for a wine like this with almost a decade under its belt.
Pretty pale colour.
Lemon and a touch of green at the centre.
Great aromatics of honey, cream, canned peaches, clementine, and baked apple.
Rich and juicy, on the palate. Atulfo mango, peaches, honey, apple, and starfruit. Crisp acidity to balance the sweetness.
Pair this with grilled prawns with chilis and lime.

Natalie's Review

Schloss Schönborn Marcobrunn Riesling Kabinett 2008, Prädikatswein, Rheingau, Germany: Totally sexy! Petrol peach short dress kind of wine -- want want want! So light in alcohol (thus the short dress) yet such a big tease and flavour on the palate. Drink: 2013-2020. 928861 9.50% D 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 92/100. June 21, 2014 Top Rated White Wine.
