The 2012 Château Des Charmes Chardonnay Musqué has fragrant aromas of lime, Bartlett pear and yellow apple on the nose, while the palate consists of lemon, pear, yellow apple and subtle toasted notes. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; with refreshing acidity and a medium to long, lightly oily finish. It is a food friendly wine; drink now to 2018 (screw cap enclosure). My impression: NICE, 87-88 pts. Tasted in Jun/14.

Château des Charmes Chardonnay Musque 2012, Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Light and floral; a pleasant aperitif served well-chilled. The clone of the Chardonnay (809) for this wine was developed by Chateau des Charmes founder Paul Bosc. It produced an aromatic un-oaked white wine. Drink: 2013-2016. 640516 13% XD 750 mL $16.95 Score: 85/100. July 5, 2014 Full Review
