A deep, dark, raisins-and-Christmas cake-flavoured garnacha, with masses of sweet fruit extract and caramel-wood flavour. This sort of chunky and sweet-spicy wine would appeal to fans of, say, Starbucks's coffee, heavily roasted and dark flavoured. Make sure the BBQ is fired and red meat seasoned and ready to grill. Tasted June 2015. Value Rating: **
