Heather Murray reviewed this wine as follows:

Picked after the 15 of November but not while frozen. Aromas of caramelized pineapple, and apple cider are predominant. It's mid-full weight with a silky smooth generous mouth feel.

Vintages, March 2014: Aromas of clover, honey, candied fruit - think peach - and white flowers. The palate is smooth and round with nice balance between the almost syrupy ripe fruit and the freshness. This will be lovely with spicy grilled pork or with blue-veined cheeses, but it can also be used to make green tea cocktails, or simply as a refreshing summer sipper.

Pinkus (4/5): In a 2012 sweetie I expected good sweetness due to the very ripe fruit, but it's the acidity here that gets me, it's well-balanced and adds depth and layers to a wine that is full of honeyed apricot and pear notes, what that acidity does is keep that sweetness in check delivering a well balanced yet delicate dessert wine.
Terry Jeans rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This late harvest wine is terrific value from one of my favourite wine producers in the Niagara region of Ontario. Don't tell anyone, but this is almost the same thing as iced wine, at a fraction of the price. There are luscious aromas of apricot, tangerine, and orange blossoms that repeat on the pallette, with a long pleasant finish. The balance of sweetness and acidity is near perfect, to the point where you will find yourself filling your glass again and again without hesitating. I would pair this with a cheese plate, but really it is dessert all on it's own.
