In my quest to become a Sommelier, we are studying California and the Pacific Northwest. I just love California wines, since I visited Napa in 2001. This Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Francis in Sonoma County is your perfect expression of a California Cab. Full-bodied, ripe bold fruits, blackberry, cassis and oak notes. A big hearty wine that will go with a steak or your favorite beef stew.
St. Francis Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Sonoma County, California, United States: Purple and black plum aromas with some blueberry compote on the side. Full-bodied, heart warming and layered on the palate. Very comforting finish. Meat lovers' pizza please! Drink: 2014-2020. 671164 14.60% D 750 mL $29.95 Score: 93/100.
