rated this wine as 92/100
with the following review:
Deep purple in colour, this full-bodied red has complex layers of dark fruit, sweet and pungent spices over mint, pencil shavings, and walnut complexity. The intense flavours are balanced with juicy acidity, and ripe tannic structure on the long, elegant finish.
Drink today, or cellar until 2022.
Savour on its own, or pair with finer cuts of beef and lamb.
Date tasted: April 2014.
Ringbolt 21 Barriques Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Margaret River, Western Australia, Australia: Minty blackberry nose. Full-bodied palate, supple and smooth. Decant one hour even so. Savoury, some grip and a good finish. Rare filet mignon please. Drink: 2014-2020. 367870 13% XD 750 mL $44.95 Score: 92/100. March 29, 2014 Best Beef Wine Full Review
