Pale lemon-green with youthful aromas of citrus, apple, pear, honey, butter, toast, nettles, minerality. Medium-bodied with medium+ acidity carry flavours of tree fruit, citrus, kiwi, anise, wet hay, smoke, honey, honeysuckle.
Medium+ length on a creamy finish.
Drink now, not suitable for ageing.
Food pairings: lobster bisque, four cheese pizza, fruit/ cheese platter, on it's own.
Tasted April 2014
Good value wine.
Martha Kelly AIWS, CS rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Pale, lemon-green in colour with flavours of grapefruit, lime, pineapple, smoke, and mint. The Medium plus creamy body is balanced by the zesty acidity which carries the flavours through on the warming finish.
Drink now, or keep until 2015.
Enjoy on its own, or pair with goat cheese, or cream soups.
Date tasted: April 2014.
Jane Staples Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

From the heart of Sonoma, this clear, pale yellow Fume Blanc is refreshing and elegant. With aromas of jasmine and pear, followed by flavours of pear, apple, lemon zest and honeydew melon, this medium-bodied gem will make friends and influence people. Try with smoked oysters.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
