Harvested from vineyards in the Andes Famatina Valley, Torrontes is Argentina’s signature white grape. Yellow with greenish tint, it produces highly aromatic, fruity, crisp and refreshing, food-friendly wines. On the nose, abundance of floral notes, a touch of orange zest and tropical fruit.
The palate brings vibrant acidity and flavors of lemon drops and stone fruit. Fruity, floral and still dry, it makes a great companion to a variety of dishes. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day and “drinkin’ the green”; pair with delicious green apple & walnut salad. Cheers ……
