New Zealand is putting out some first class Pinot Noir wines and this is another example of a great wine at a great price. This is a soft but flavorful medium-bodied wine with those luscious and earthy raspberry flavors. Pinot Noir is one your more food friendly wines and I love it with just about any meal. Ara is a 100% certified sustainable vineyard and I liked that.
Ara Single Estate Pinot Noir 2011, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Sweet cherry-berry aromas on the nose and flavours on the palate. Medium- to full-bodied with a smooth texture. Cherry pie and raspberry preserves on the finish. Drink: 2013-2016. 361279 13.50% XD 750 mL $23.95 Score: 89/100. March 15, 2014 Full Review
