From the south of France, this clear, pale straw yellow gem brims with tropical fruit aromas and flavours of mango, passionfruit and honey. Buttery mouthfeel and long passionfruit finish.
That's a lot of smiling for $15.95!
Saint-Roch Vielles Vignes Grenache Blanc Marsanne 2012, Côtes Du Roussillon, Midi A.P., France: Vibrant, alive and exciting, especially at this price! Floral, but not overly so, more spring day fresh, let's go for a walk way. White peach and pear hanging in a sun-dappled orchard. Fresh, zingy and ready to enliven your senses. This terrific white is made form 80% Grenache Blanc and 20% Marsanne grapes grown on 50-year-old vines planted in limestone and clay. I'm going to do my chardonnay lovin friends a favour and serve them this. Time to mix it up people! Drink: 2014-2017. 175232 13% XD 750 mL $15.95 Score: 91/100. March 15, 2014 Best Value White Wine.
