Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An exceptional offering from a truly variable region. Dry Creek Vineyard has made some tremendous steps forward despite its youth as a "Cabernet" producer. This wine offers aromas and flavours of fresh cut tobacco, bay leaf, black raspberry, black currant, pencil shavings, iron, and a hint of florality. Drink now through 2020. 91 Points.
