Well here is a bit of a challenge to me. I love writing about the wines I have discovered and let my passion spill over through my words as to how delicious each of my experiences has been, but let's be honest, I write about wines that I want to drink, my spectrum is to a point limited, I like full bodied dry wines rich with cooked fruits, black cherries etc.....but I want to change the pace, I wanted to try a wine that would not be within my taste range. If a wine is light or fruity that doesn't mean it's not a good wine, infact I could be missing out on some wonderful experiences just because it's not my style! So I want to very objectively do this wine review about a wine I wouldn't normally taste.

I'm not sure if it's because I visited this delightful little vine yard and knew its history and passion, that made me receptive to try this, labeled as "fruity and light" wine, but I was very eager to venture into unchartered territories !

The colour was actuall quite deep for what I was expecting. On the nose it was definatly floral with fresh acidity, elderflower, strawberries, cherry pie and caramel.

On the palate, strawberries , red currants  and cherries. The acidity was lively and fresh. A delicious apple blossom gave way to a floral rose then slipped into a curious finish, white pepper show cased before a note of sweet cherry drops and then a relatively long tannin.

Overall this wine is fresh, vibrant, showcases good character. To my tastes, this is the type of wine I would drink whilst spending a day cooking in the kitchen and be happy with her company, this is also a wine I would use to cook with and like wise serve alongside the meal at the table .

This is a young wine which is not going to change with aging, this is made as a ready to drink wine and for $15.50 I was proud to buy a Quebec wine!
