Louise Wilson ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Voluptuous ripe berry fruit with hints of raisins and dried herb. Full bodied with approachable well balanced tannin. A sure fire crowd pleaser. Try with olive tapenade. Drink through 2015. Tasted Mar 2014.
Ghislain Lalonde rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

John Szabo, MS

Here's an unusually complex and refined example of primitivo from Manduria, with a fine mix of smoky, savory, dried fruit and herbal flavors, reminiscent of good quality Amarone. The finish is long, and the complexity is high; fine quality for money indeed. Tasted January 2013. Value Rating: ***
