Tania Thomas CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This incredible value red comes from the CARIÑENA D.O., located at the heart of the Ebro Valley in the Community of Aragón in Spain. A blend of 70% Garnacha, 20% Tempranillo and 10% Carinena, vinified with handpicked berries from 40 year old bush-vines.
The palate is dry, medium bodied and well balanced with soft tannins. Rustic and earthy, it delivers ripe black cherry and plum flavours with a touch of cedar and spice, followed by a long, lingering finish. Serve it with tapas or after dinner with chunks of Manchego cheese from the La Mancha region.
