Heather Wall CS; WSET Certified rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Brilliant crimson colour with a purple hue. Full-bodied and bursting with ripe fruit. Cherry, cassis, plum and raspberry. Top that off with notes of vanilla, anise, baking spices. Tannins evident but not gripping.
70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from a cool spring and late growing season leading to small yields and smaller, concentrated grapes.
Winemaker suggests this wine would benefit from aging. 10+ years easy.
However, I enjoyed sipping now! Food friendly. Room temperature.
