This was one of the wines I was able to taste at the mini salon recently and was intrigued with its power house of personality at a very reasonable price.
The wine is a delicious ruby red colour yet silky in the glass. On the nose there is a fresh acidity of red fruits, strawberries and cherries. On the palate the wine starts with the same fresh acidity and leads into strawberries, cherries, cassis and then jammy plums. The deliverance of these fruits is quite brilliant as it opens up so smoothly from one fruit to the next with delicate ease. As the wine breathes more and evolves more in your mouth there is a mineral, herby energy that then opens up into a a wondrous spice and the a dry long finish.

I think this is a great price for such a price.
