Mario Cagnetta rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Here is another typical expression of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Seresin Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough it is also a wine made by traditional viticulture and winemaking: that means byodinamics wine using wild yeast for fermentation and following the principle of nature elucidated in 1924 by Rudolph Steiner. Of course artificial fertilizers or pesticides are banned and control is not given by science but by the use of natural things according to correct timings and cosmic rhythms. Ninety per cent Sauvignon Blanc blended with Semillon, this wine has a very good complexity coming from the elegant use of French oak barriques utilized in 15 per cent of the production.
Visual examination: Pale yellow with golden reflections given by the oak French barrique. Crystal clear and moderately consistent.
Olfactory examination: Intense, complex, a very fine quality wine with a floral and herbaceous scents very well combined with a pineapple, guava, honeysuckle and vanilla notes.
Taste and olfactory examination: Dry wine, moderately warm, moderately smooth, very fresh in acidity with a good presence of salts. A balanced Sauvignon Blanc intense and persistence in the aftertaste with a fine quality. Full body wine ready to drink at 10 to 12 Celsius degrees and moderately harmonius it goes very well with scallops and all the shellfish. It is also very good for summer especially if combined with something very fresh. It is going to make your day.

Natalie's Review

Seresin Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Grassy and herbal with crisp, ultra dry refreshment. Limes and lemons dance in delight across your palate. This medium-bodied white wine works as both an aperitif or companion to many dishes. A nice snap of refreshment on the finish. Complex and dry. Perfect for fresh seafood.
