Very interesting and complicated wine. Complicated aromas of Syrah/Grenache blend will fully open after decanting. It is deep and heavy and would go wonderfully with any steak. Complex nose of jam and fig with delicacy of red fruit. The taste would add some spicy notes. Simply beautiful, and would get even better with age.
Pierre Amadieu Le Pas De L'aigle Grande Réserve Gigondas 2010, A.C., Rhône, France: Full-bodied, black, brooding and looking to pick a fight with your rare steak. This wine will win, and so will you. Complex, deep, rich, concentrated. Decant 2 hours. Yes please! Drink: 2013-2019. 354217 14.50% XD 750 mL $32.95 Score: 93/100. November 9, 2013 Full Review
