Lesley Quinn Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Poliziano is a famous poet from the 15th century. His home was the hilltop perched town of Montepulciano, even today the locals refer to themselves as Poliziano's. This winery is a true representation of the historic town's character and ability to produce fine wine. With it's deep purple colour and dark fruit nose this wine makes you feel like nobility. Decadent plum flavours and a full blackberry middle give way to a hint of smoke with cheek squeezing tannins. You could have a meal fit for a Queen with a fire roasted lamb rack. You may even start spouting poetry after drinking this regal wine.
