Hints of pepper and dried herb accompany mouth filling raspberry and plum flavours. Full bodied with approachable tannins and a satisfying length. A great winter warm up alongside a hearty beef stew. Enjoy now through 2015. Tasted Feb 2014.
Le Gravillas Vieilles Vignes 2011, Gigondas, Rhone, France: I’m lovin it! Juicy, savoury and mouth-watering: loaded with blackberry and black cherry aromas. Good grip on the palate: decant for 2-3 hours. Could use some cellar time. Fantastic price! Produced by Cave Des Vignerons a Sablet. Try it with hearty meat dishes and robust conversation. Drink: 2012-2016. 78808 14% D 750 mL $25.95 Score: 93/100. January 18, 2014 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine Full Review
