Lesley Quinn Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is a wine for those who collect. I may not buy designer shoes or handbags but I am willing to splurge on a wine that tastes this great. The best part being that it is delicious now, but will continue to get better over the next 20 years+. This Brunello comes from a vineyard known as the "windy ridge" and this wine will blow you away. A ripe blackberry patch surrounded by violets with velvety smooth tannins are what you can expect for this splurge. Great fruit but amazing texture that would pair beautifully with your final BBQ of the season, or any grilled meat.
