Mario Cagnetta rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The perfect wine for an aperitif: this is what I thought when I tried the Cattier Brut Premier Cru Champagne for the first time. Forty per cent Pinot Meunier, 35 per cent Pinot Noir and 25 per cent Chardonnay this sparkling wine is able to melt together all the main characteristics from these three grapes. The aroma is floral with beautiful notes of apples and citrus with a dominant buttery flavour that is reminiscent of the fragrance of French croissants. A very good product that is available for $40,75. A very good companion that gives the best if is paired with shellfish, fish and also with poultry.
Visual examination: Brilliant with a golden yellow colour with a slight amber tint, this champagne has many little and persistent bubbles.
Olfactory examination: intense, complex, fine in quality with a floral and fruity aromas very well mixed with many fragrant notes.
Taste-olfactory examination: dry with just 10 grams of sugars per litre, moderately warm, this champagne is fresh and moderately sapid. A very good balanced sparkling wine, that after tasted reveals a good intensity and persistence, and of course a very good quality. A good structure very well balanced, harmonious and ready to drink.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
