with the following review:
Rich and full bodied, with a velvety texture. Loaded with notes of black licorice, plum, and a twist of sweet vanilla. Heavenly with Osso Buco. Now through 2016. Tasted Dec 2013.
Tres Picos Borsao Garnacha 2011, D.O., Campo De Borja, Spain: Some mocha and chocolate on the nose is quickly flooded with lusciously ripe black fruit on the palate. Full-bodied and smooth. This winery is located south of Rioja and is comprised of 100% Garnacha grapes. The wine itself was matured in 50/50 stainless steel and French barrels. A long, satisfying finish. Pair with hearty meat dishes. Drink: 2013-2019. 273748 14.50% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 91/100. October 12, 2013 Terrific Turkey Wine Full Review
