Deborah Podurgiel rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This deep red, almost opaque Cahors Malbec from Southwest France is a dry wine, but luscious with ripe and crisp (not jammy) red berry flavours, violet, lavender and sage, mocha, sweet spice and a hint of vanilla finish. Tannins are rounded and soft and the wine is more a medium-weight wine with a well-balanced acidity, long finish and will drink well into 2016. It is a perfect match to the hardy cuisine of Southwest France's typical fare of cassoulet and duck confit. I had it with a roast goose, root vegetables and potato dish, and it was perfect with that as well! Enjoy!
