rated this wine as 89/100
with the following review:
Pale ruby in colour, with flavours of raspberry jam, dark cherry, cola, cedar, black pepper, vanilla, toast, and savoury notes of beetroot, mushroom and wet leaves.
The refreshing acidity and soft tannins carry the intense flavours through on the medium plus length, warming finish.
Drink now, or cellar until 2016.
Pair with beef stew, burgers, and gourmet pizza.
Date tasted: November 2013.
Momo Seresin Estate Pinot Noir 2010, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Big and juicy with pleasingly tart and vibrant cherry aromas and flavours. Mouth-watering acidity is fantastic for a range of dishes. Smooth and medium- to full-bodied. Very tasty. Absolutely needs food. Made by the film director of many famous movies, including several of the Harry Potter series. Drink: 2012-2016. 163972 14% D 750 mL $19.95 Score: 92/100. September 28, 2013 Best Value Red Wine.
