Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal
rated this wine as 88/100
with the following review:
I expect more power and structure from my Madiran. The great wines from Osmin and Peyros come to mind. This wine lacks a sense of place. However, it is a beautiful drinking wine, with loads of black fruit and sweet earth. This wine can be paired with pretty much anything and do well. And for these reasons, I'm 88 on this wine. Château D'aydie L'origine Famille Laplace Au Château D’Aydie 2010, A.C., Madiran, Southwest, France: Full-bodied and restrained for the Madiran, usually the home of enamel-peeling reds. Doesn't even taste like 14% alcohol. Drink: 2013-2016. 343566 13.50% XD 750 mL $15.95 Score: 90/100. September 14, 2013 Perfect Pasta and Tomato Sauce Wine Full Review
