The 2011 Hidden Bench Chardonnay has intense aromas of lime, pineapple, green apple, light lees and subtle oak. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; with good acidity, some tannins and a medium to long, wood restrained finish. It is food friendly or can be enjoyed on its own; drink now – 2018. My impression: NICE, 89 pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted Nov/13.

Hidden Bench Winery Chardonnay 2011, V.Q.A., Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Terrific acidity and richness, like Ginger and Fred. Lovely green apple brightness hemmed in with toast almonds. Full-bodied and satisfying. Drink: 2013-2017. 68817 13% XD 750 mL $32.00 Score: 90/100. September 13, 2013 Best Beef Wine Full Review
