Easy to see why Le Clos Jordanne is a favourite of restaurants and Sommeliers. Consistency and craftsmanship. Medium+ body with lots of dark ripe fruit, cranberry, spice box, cedar, vanilla, and hint of wet cement(?). Grilled meats, game, heavier cheeses.
Le Clos Jordanne Claystone Terrace Pinot Noir 2010, Niagara, Twenty Mile Bench, Ontario, Canada: This is my favourite wine from this winery, year after year. Its exuberant energy and power come from a complex weave of nuances: truffles, black cherry, violets, cedar box and dark spices. Brooding and temperamental: love it! Drink: 2013-2019. 33951 13.50% D 750 mL $35.00 Score: 92/100. September 13, 2013 Splendid Salad Wine Full Review
