The name "Stella Bellla" is a lot of fun to say but even better the wine is delicious! This Chardonnay starts out with aromas of melon and lemon curd. On the palate it takes on a burnt butterscotch flavour with a balancing steely lemon minerality. It finishes with a spicy bite and provides a long creamy aftertaste. It is a bit of a splurge at $32.70, but you can keep it and age it for 7+ years and save it for a special occasion. However, it is corn season right now and I think this wine would be a great compliment to a corn and lobster chowder.
