Sara M WSET Advanced reviewed this wine as follows:

Powerful and complex, with a bouquet full of plums, black pepper and cloves. The supple tannins don't overpower on the palate, making this very easy to drink! This wine is an excellent example of Australian Shiraz and pairs well with lamb and pot roast. It's a great wine to share with friends over dinner!
Linda rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great with gnocchi in tomato sauce and reggiano, fruity, smooth

Nugan Estate Mclaren Parish Vineyard Shiraz 2010, Mclaren Vale, South Australia, Australia: Intense concentration of black fruit flavours with blackberry liqueur. Some menthol on the nose. Full-bodied and smooth. Great depth and balance with a long finish. Great persistence of flavours, longing and desire. Drink: 2012-2015. 72603 15% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 91/100.
