Nov 22, 2014: Med ruby, plummy, dark fruit, dark chocolate, spice with hints of eucalyptus and pepper. Plummy, black cherry, blackberry, lightly minty. Well balanced in the mouth, medium full bodied with medium acidity and gentle tannins. Solid value.

Earthy, with black plum, dried herbs, and tar. The taste is inky and dark with great acidity and some fine tannins. There's a long tannic herb-y finish. This should pair well with white meats braised with herbs and balsamic vinegar.

Medium ruby in colour, intense with ripe dark fruit, sweet and pungent spices and earthy notes, this wine is soft on the palate with refreshing acidity while the flavours linger on the palate.

Oatley's Shiraz's tend to be lighter and brighter than typical Aussie Shiraz. Oatley works with the wines to achieve regionality and clarity of varietal expression. This medium -bodied Shiraz is a good example, with sweet baking spices, ripe stewed fruit, mocha and slight smoke/tar flavours.
