This wine is produced in the Barossa Valley in southern Australia. The 2011 Turkey Flat Butcher’s Block is composed of 56% Marsanne, 32 % Viognier and 12% Roussanne grapes. The proportion of each grape varies from year to year.
This dry white is medium to full-bodied with floral and citrus fruit aromas. On the palate, notes of lemon and hints of banana and smoke precede a medium length finish.
Wine pairing suggestion: pork tenderloin with a cream sauce.
