With BBQ season in full swing, if you're looking for a wine to open that will go with just about everything, here it is. The Brazin Old Vine Zinfandel is ripe with rich fruit, hints of coffee and vanilla and an all around easy to drink Zinfandel. It will pair well with BBQ foods like ribs and chicken and I found it to be a fun summer wine.
Brazin (B)Old Vine Zinfandel 2010, Lodi, California, United States: The nose is redolent of raspberry jam and mocha from generous oaking. Full-bodied, juicy and smooth. Terrific for grilled meats and spare ribs. Good value. Drink: 2012-2015. 256750 15% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 89/100. July 6, 2013 Best Beef Wine Full Review
