Natalie's Review

Monte Faustino Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2007, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy: Broker a deal between competing motorcycle gangs with this robust red. It's the only way to make them all fall silent and agree on something. Rich robust flavours of fleshy black plums and blackberries, liqueur-like concentration, though it's a dry wine. Good dark spice and signed contracts on the finish. I've also recommended robust Italian reds under $20 in this release, as well as terrific cabernet, shiraz and malbec from California, Australia and Argentina.
