Pinor Meunier is treasured in the Champagne region of France and blended with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. I loved this single varietal Pinot Meunier wine. Silky and elegant. Candied cherry, plum, raisin, oak, and a splash of perfume. Paired beautifully with roasted turkey and cranberry stuffing. Medium bodied and easy sipping. It will star again at my Christmas table. Great Value.
Vineland Estates Winery Pinot Meunier 2011, V.Q.A., Niagara Escarpment, Ontario, Canada: Lovely essence of Pinot Meunier -- an undiscovered red grape often just used in a blend like an understudy. This offers enticing notes of soft cherry and red floral aromas. Perfect for roast turkey or chicken. Makes a nice aperitif too. Medium-bodied and balanced. Drink: 2013-2015. 225508 13% XD 750 mL $17.95 Score: 89/100. June 22, 2013 Terrific Turkey Wine Full Review
