Lusciously rich with layers of honey, dried apricot, Meyer lemon and grapefruit spice. The off dry finish is perfectly balanced by mouth watering acidity. The quintessential Pinot Gris. Pair with grilled sausage, or Kung Pow chicken. Enjoy through 2016. Tasted Dec 2013.
Domaines Schlumberger Kessler Grand Cru Pinot Gris 2008, A.C., Alsace, France: Dried apricot and apple blossom on the nose. Some sweetness on palate is perfectly balanced with acidity for a wide range of dishes, think glazed ham, medium curries, Asian. Gorgeous clementine, baking spice and smoke on the finish. Try it! Drink: 2013-2017. 249623 13% M 750 mL $25.95 Score: 93/100. June 22, 2013 Top Rated White Wine. Spectacular Spicy Wine Full Review
