Matt Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Benjamin Bridge has been making a real fizz in the sparkling wine scene over the past decade. This Nova Scotia (Canada) based winery is producing sparkling wines that rival those from Champagne. A combination of ideal terroir for producing crisp & complex cool climate grapes, along with creative winemaking expertise, has resulted in world-class sparkling wines with incredible minerality and refreshing acidity.

The Nova 7 is stylistically similar to Italy's Moscato d'Asti, with its gentle effervescence, floral and orchard fruit aromas and flavours, and also produced in a off-dry low alcohol style. Unlike many Moscato d'Asti's, the Nova 7 is crisper, and loaded with refreshing minerality making it that much more versatile for pairings.

Nova 7 is a beautiful copper-hued salmon colour with a nose displaying sweet honey suckle, asian pear, and golden yellow apple notes. Slightly effervescent, the initial taste profile is of sweet orchard fruit, followed immediately by crisp refreshing acidity and a long mineral finish. Perfectly balanced, this off-dry wine is loaded with refreshing minerality making it a great choice for east coast seafood appetizers, sushi, tart berry desserts, or simply to enjoy on its own whether that be on a patio in the summer or during the holiday season to make a special toast. Benjamin Bridge sparkling wines are some of the most interesting I've tasted and I look forward to following this winery in the years to come. Tasted November 2014. 92+ points. Lesley Quinn rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Everything from the colour to the sweetness level pleasantly surprised me about this wine. A blend of predominantly Muscat it's bubbles are so fine and delicate you barely even notice them. The sweetness level is extremely well balanced and leaves your mouth feeling refreshed. The colour is a light coral and you get aromas of key lime and roses. I saved this wine for my dessert, and was blown away by how great it was. I still think it is better on it's own or with a light dessert but you could have it with a mild salad too. It makes a fantastic wine to cap off a night at the theater, as I did
Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine can definitely make an appearance every year from now until eternity. Even the top Moscato d'Asti can't lay a finger on this wine. Incredible pink grapefruit and floral notes. Not overly complicated, but mouthwatering and screams for another glass more than any other wine I've had in the last few years. 91 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)

Natalie's Review

Benjamin Bridge Nova 7 2012, Gaspereau Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada: Celebrate life! Wow this is liquid exuberance. Moscato-grape aromas with orange zest and honeysuckle swaying in the summer breeze. Low alcohol, and some sweetness make this a great aperitif or companion to any spicy dish or one with a bit of sweetness like glazed ham, sweet potatoes etc. Drink: 2013-2015. 256289 6.50% S 750 mL  $25.95 Score: 92/100.
